Artist's Comments

The second piece in my Phoenix Series, whereby I digitally redo some of my earlier works (giving them a face lift, as it were). This piece was originally entitled "The Last Look" and can be found here:

It is a makeover of Pogue, one of the Ivories from my Sorche' novel. I plan on redesigning this character completely (at a later date), but for now I simply cleaned her up a bit and added a different setting.

I always love the light and layers of color in your pieces. She looks like she's standing in a nebula. It's amazing, all fantasy and sci fi at once.
