MechMage Balik looks on as his distant brethren (the Drom) escape through the Imogen Nexxus (a temporal displacement portal). The large creature in the background is a GateKeeper which is used by The Drom to control and navigate through the portals at will. This is a scene from my upcoming fantasy novel, Sorche. As for my signature, I must give mad props to ~lhs . I took a cue from him.

Incredible lighting! His transparent cloak just looks so worn out and threadbare, I can almost feel it. I really love the GateKeeper. Great anatomy. His hand is absolutely Hogarthian! lol

This really glows with light and movement. Epic.
